Transforming Tamworth: A new vision for Tamworth town centre

Tamworth Borough Council is working towards a new vision to restore Tamworth town centre as the beating heart of the community; a place that people want to visit, rather than a place they have to visit.

We know consumer habits and needs have changed, and as a result town centres have changed. Through widespread engagement and consultation, we know people want a place to relax, to eat and drink, to be entertained and to enjoy activities with friends and families in pleasant surroundings.

This is our journey to turning that vision into reality.
