Town centre businesses discuss regeneration plans at event

Businesses attending event at Tamworth Assembly Rooms

Around 50 people attended an event at Tamworth Assembly Rooms last night (Oct 13) for town centre businesses to find out more about major regeneration projects planned in the coming years.

The session was hosted by Leader of the Council, Jeremy Oates, with Cabinet member for economy, Cllr Daniel Cook, and officers from the economic regeneration team.

The agenda included updates on the Future High Streets Fund, Gungate project, Welcome Back Fund and various other schemes you can find out about by exploring this website.

The team at Tamworth Borough Council would like to thank all those businesses who attended and got involved by giving their feedback and asking lots of questions.

If you're a Tamworth business and would like to keep up to date with news about regeneration projects, and other items which may be of interest, please sign up to our mailing list on the 'Get Involved' section of this website.
