Enterprise Hub

Project 2 - Refurbishment of the locally-listed part of the Tamworth Co-operative Society department store (the Colehill frontages) into a new enterprise centre for small businesses.

In 2017, Tamworth Borough Council opened a brand new Enterprise Centre for small businesses inside the historic Philip Dix Centre building in Corporation Street.

The state-of-the-art business hub provides 16 modern serviced offices to rent, well-appointed meeting rooms for hire, an executive lounge, virtual offices, conference facilities and more.

Since it first opened, the centre has always been fully occupied, with a waiting list of businesses hoping for small affordable office space, amid a demand for more facilities like this in Tamworth.

Project 2 involves creating a second Enterprise Centre, providing space for even more businesses to start-up, grow and prosper.

This will create up to 15 new offices, bringing with it new jobs and opportunities.
